Visited by chance, excellent food and wine.
Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Not many customers when we arrived but started filling up quickly.
It was my first time at Chianti with being gluten and milk intolerant. Lunch menu had a couple options for myself, starters; smoked salmon and minestrone soup, mains; gf pasta in arrabiata sauce, minute steak.
I had minestrone soup (and it still came with normal bread and butter) and minute steak with chips in a tomato sauce and then peppermint tea.
It was delicious, and I would have it again.
My family had spaghetti carbonara, minute steak and strawberry cheesecake and 3 scoops of ice cream; vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. All meals were amazing, and I must admit, I would have loved to have the spaghetti carbonara, but there was no alternative for my intolerances.
Lovely authentic Italian restaurant. Great atmosphere and very positive, welcoming staff. The food was tasty and definitely worth a try. If I go back I'd rather just go for drinks and nibbles. Great outdoor space, would be ideal on a sunny day for cocktails.
